Privacy Policy
The short version. This is a small business website. We collect what you type into the contact form so we can reply to you, and we count page views without cookies. We don't sell your information, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't email you unless you contacted us first.
Who we are
RedChip Technologies is a web design and local SEO business based in the Orlando, Florida area. This policy covers redchiptech.com. If you want anything here explained or actioned, email [email protected] — that reaches the owner directly.
What the contact form collects
When you submit the form on our site, you choose what to share. The fields are your name, your business, your email address, an optional phone number, your current website, what you're looking for, and your message.
That submission is sent to us by email. Our server also writes a short log line for each submission — the date and time, the name and email address given, and the originating IP address — which we keep to troubleshoot delivery problems and to identify spam. We do not run a marketing database, and your details are not added to any mailing list.
Analytics
We measure traffic with Plausible Analytics, which we host on our own server rather than sending to a third-party platform. It is cookie-free and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregate information such as the page visited, the referring site, approximate country, and device type. It does not build a profile of you and cannot identify you personally.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which is how we keep automated spam out of the inbox. It analyses browsing signals to judge whether a submission is human and may set cookies in the process. That part is Google's, and their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
Hosting and delivery
The site runs on our own server and is delivered through Cloudflare, which sits in front of it to speed up loading and filter malicious traffic. As with any web server, standard access logs record IP addresses, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to work faster — drafting, research, and routine build steps. Every site, word, and strategy is reviewed by a human who knows your business and your market. We think you should know that up front rather than find out later. What you send us through this site is not sold, published, or handed to anyone for training.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don't run advertising or retargeting pixels.
- We don't set our own tracking cookies.
- We don't add you to a newsletter because you filled in a form.
Your choices
Email [email protected] and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There's no form and no process — just ask, and we'll confirm when it's done. You can also block cookies in your browser; the site works fine without them, though the contact form depends on reCAPTCHA to accept a submission.
Children
This site sells services to businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
Our work examples link to clients' own websites. Once you follow one of those links, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We won't quietly broaden what we collect.
